Okay minister, pastor, teacher, apostle and prophet, so you love the Lord as long as it doesn’t cost you anything, as long as you don’t have to sacrifice anything, as long and you don’t get wounded or hurt, as long as people don’t lie on you, mistreat you, put out your name as evil, criticize you, make fun of you, and for God’s sake don’t let them slap you, or abuse you physically for what you say you love.
You don’t want to suffer, go without, loose everything, and have your friends turn their backs on you. You don’t want to be content with what you have, but you also don’t want to give freely. However, you crave others to freely give to you. Your prophesy and word even comes at a monetary cost now.
Yet you say you love the Lord who was whipped, beaten, slapped, spat on, punched, kicked, reviled, but didn’t revile again. He was abused, misused, stricken and counted as nothing. He was rejected by his own, setup to be murdered, hanged on a tree (becoming a curse), and finally died; all because He loved you. He received no funds, very little praise, or even compassion for His sacrifice.
Here you won’t even join in the fellowship of His suffering which was for you; without complaining. Check yourself and know….Do you really love Jesus?
How many of His commandments have you broken just today without regard? Have you never read: “If ye love me, keep my commandments” (John 14:15): or the scripture: “If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love” (John 15:10). However, you don’t want to obey Jesus’ commandments, but you want everyone to obey yours. “Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also” (John 15:20).
Seems like you want the recognition, but you don’t want what comes with it. We seem to want to carry the Word, but not be responsible for living, demonstrating, personifying, or obeying the Word. “Yet hath he not root in himself, but endureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended” (Matthew 13:21 emphasis added).
How long will the Lord be but to an open shame because our male leaders can’t or won’t control their flesh? How long will we accept mothers coming without fathers taking responsibility for the children they fathered? How long will we compromise the gospel and say we are Heaven bound? Giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrine of devils, not standing on the truth of the word against homosexuals and sexual perversions, because we are being paid and supported by a godless governmental system (501c3 and state incorporation). Yet we say we love the Lord.
IS YOUR LOVE OF JESUS CONDITIONAL? Come to yourself and make a decision for the Lord out of true love of the Father and of the Son.
“But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead” (Philippians 3:7-11).
