Why do we serve God if we refuse to believe God? Therefore, if we don’t believe God do we really serve Him? Scripture says that it is impossible to please God without faith. Therefore, if we don’t believe Him how can we please Him?
Many say with their mouth they believe God, but in action they don’t believe and even deny Him. How do you serve a sinless God, and not believe that He can cause you to live without sin in the flesh? How do you serve a perfect God, but not believe that he can make you perfect while still in the flesh? Especially when He commanded us to be perfect.
Why do you pray: “Let your will be done in Earth as it is in Heaven”? There is no sickness in Heaven, no sin in Heaven, there is no death in Heaven, and there is no unforgiveness in Heaven. Yet we say things like this all the time: “I can’t forgive that person”, “I’m a sinner saved by grace”, and then we have the nerve to attempt to use scripture to justify our lack of commitment and faith in doing what the Lord told us to do.
We make excuses all the time; calling a willful sin a mistake, taking Communion when some of us know we are going right out of the service, with the Communion still in our bellies, and will sin willfully against the Lord God and His precious Gift Jesus Christ. Then to justify all of this by saying: “Well we are made the righteousness of God through Jesus’ death on the cross.” Implying that we don’t have to live a life free of sin, because Jesus Blood cleanses of sin anyway? This one they use is precious: “There is no way we can become sin free in this life”. This is the deception of the Devil to keep us in bondage to sin, and we can’t seem to see past our own fleshly desires to what the enemy is actually doing.
I am tired of weak believers holding on to sin, simply because they won’t believe what the Lord has written. If one jot or tittle of Jesus’ words will not fall to the ground unfulfilled, what are we doing? Either believe the word of God, or don’t but please stop making excuses for not standing on the word, and then using the Word to justify your inconsistency.
Stop making a mockery of Jesus’ death, and resurrection, by not believing in the power He has given us over all the works of the enemy, including the devil’s sins.
If you want to sin, then sin no one is stopping you, but don’t attempt to justify that sin through your unbelief. By the way: Whatever is not done of faith is SIN.
Adam’s act of sacrifice in disobeying God to protect Eve is what caused us to take on the nature of Satan. However, Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, and our acceptance of him as Lord and Savior by confessing, denouncing, and turning away from sin has removed the nature of Satan which is sinful and given us the nature of God, which is love, righteousness, and true holiness.
If you are a born-again believer, who is still engaging in sin, then you have made a choice to take on the nature of Satan again, which will lead you to death because we all must give an account of what has been done in these bodies. “So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God” (Romans 14:12).
“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.” (2 Timothy 3:1-7).
